Lance Smagalski, D.D.S.
Dr. Lance Smagalski is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Raised in Petaluma, California, and the son of an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, he graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a degree in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology. Dr. Smagalski received his dental degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2002, where he was accepted into the Tau Kappa Omega Dental Honor Society. He then completed a comprehensive 4-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Washington Hospital Center, D.C.

Dr. Smagalski accepted a Health Professions Scholarship, and over the next 3 years, served honorably as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in the United States Air Force. His active duty career included a one year tour at Osan AB, Republic of Korea, and two years at Langley AFB, Virginia, where he was decorated for his service.
Dr. Smagalski is practicing primarily at the Pittsfield office. He will utilize his extensive surgical training to care for patients with a large variety of needs, including tooth extractions, placement of dental implants and bone grafting, orthognathic surgery, cosmetic surgery and treatment of oral and maxillofacial pathology and trauma.
